Nature-Based Solutions Against Flood Risk

Abstract

In this study, after introducing the flood risk occurring today and the importance of water, we discussed some nature-based methods made in the world. Firstly, Urban Green Areas made in Signapur, Urban Flood application, methods used in this application, Bioswale and Green roof applications, secondly, Water of Nicaragua. Mangrove and Wetland methods have been applied here in terms of Adaptation of the Sources to Climate Change and Vegetation, thirdly, the applications for Alkborough Flats Rearrangement Coastal Wetlands, The applications against Coastal Flood have been implemented here as a method of Flood storage systems. such as could occur, etc. flood made against the risks of nature-based applications coastal management also that it is important how the implementation of these types of applications in Turkey needs to be done we have seen, we tried to explain in a short way. The results we obtained as a result of our study clearly show the importance of nature-based applications.
