Özet

There has been a significant increase in the number of animals in Turkey in recent years. Culture breeds constitute a significant part of these increasing animals and their feed needs are met with roughages. However, one of the most important problems of animal producers is the production of quality roughage. Therefore, it is important to develop alternative roughages for animal husbandry. Phacelia tanacetifolia Bentham is one of the important plants suitable for roughage production. bee root; P.tanacetifolia is an annual plant belonging to the Hydrophyllaceae family. It is wide used to multiply and breed bees during period. It is also widely used to produce roughage, silage, green manure, fresh or dry hay by mowning at the end of flowering for animal nutrition. The aim of our study was to determine the effects of the faselya planted on 4 different dates, 24 March, 4 April, 30 April and 15 May, on green grass, hay and other yield parameters. According to the data obtained as a result of the study, the germination period of the P.tanacetifolia seeds varied between 13-19 days, the first flowering period was 51-62.88 days, and the total flowering period varied between 29-47 days. In addition, plant height is 52.80-61.17 cm, green grass yield is 2059.77-3212 kg/ha, hay yield is 866.77-555.77 kg/ha, seed yield is 159.11-58.22 kg/ha. da and thousand grain weights varied between 2,46-2,500 kg/da. The seeds of P.tanacetifolia plant sown on May 15 emerged at the end of the 19th day, especially due to the soil temperature exceeding the optimum values. However, it was observed that the emerging plants dried before completing their vegetative development due to the increase in air temperature.
