Hemşirelik Öğrencileri, Üniversite Öğrencileri ve Hastane Yüzeylerinden İzole Edilen Staphylococcus aureus Suşlarında eta, etb ve etd Eksfoliyatif Toksin Genlerinin Araştırılması

Bu çalışma ile hemşirelik öğrencileri, üniversite öğrencileri ve hastane yüzeylerinden izole edilen S. aureus suşlarında eksfoliyatif toksin genlerinin (eta, etb, etd) varlığını araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada 20 hemşirelik öğrencisi, 17 üniversite öğrencisi ve 13 hastane yüzeylerinden izole edilmiş toplam 50 S. aureus izolatı kullanıldı. Eksfoliyatif toksin (ET) genlerinin varlığı (eta, etb ve etd) PCR ile araştırıldı. ET geni tespit edilen izolatların klonal ilişkisini araştırmak için PFGE kullanıldı. Çalışmamızda etd geni %6 (3/50) oranında tespit edilirken, eta ve etb genleri tespit edilemedi. etd geni tespit edilen izolatların ikisi hemşirelik öğrencisi, biri üniversite öğrencisi izolatı idi. Hastane yüzeyi izolatlarından hiçbirinde ET geni tespit edilemedi. etd geni tespit edilen izolatların klonal ilişkili olduğu belirlendi. Eksfoliyatif gen taşıyan S. aureus suşlarının hem toplum hem de sağlık hizmetleriyle ilişkili enfeksiyonlara sebep olması nedeniyle böyle suşlardan kaynaklanabilecek enfeksiyonların önlenmesi açısından kapsamlı çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.
