Investigation of the Effect of Different Plant Densıty on Quality in Gap Penbesi Forage Pea (Pisum arvense L.) Cultivar Grown as Winter Intermediate Crop

Abstract

This research; Hay yield (kg da-1), crude protein ratio in hay (%), ADF and NDF ratios in hay It was carried out to determine the relative feed value with (%). The experiment was created in the research area of the Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department in Harran University Osmanbey campus, according to a randomized block design, at a density of 5 plants (10-15-20-25-30) cm and with 4 replications. In the study, hay yield was 34.88-49.30 kg da-1, crude protein ratio was 28.38-32.41%, ADF ratio in hay was 21.47-25.24%, NDF ratio in hay was 34.27-39.03% and relative feed value varied between 165.78-194.47. According to the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the best quality 30x15 cm plant density application in the GAP Pembesi forage pea variety grown as a winter intermediate product.
